Type one word from your street.
For instance, if you live on Arthurs Avenue, Harrogate just type 'Arthurs'.

Important Note: |
1) We cannot guarantee that all the catchment area information in our database is always 100% correct; it is intended as a guide only.
For confirmation of addresses we advise you contact the Harrogate area Admissions department on 0845 034 9420.
2) Living in a particular school's catchment area does not necessarily guarantee you will be assigned the school of your choice. In the event of over subscription, the admissions policy for community and voluntary controlled schools is briefly outlined below.
These priorities are correct as of Sept 2006. For the most up-to-date listings contact the admissions department.
The following information is taken from
'Guide for Parents' published in Sept 2006. A new updated guide will be added as soon as it is available to us.
First priority
Children with a statement of special educational needs which names the school
Second priority
Children and young people in Public Care for whom the school has been expressed as a preference.
Third priority
Children we believe have special social or medical reasons for admission
Fourth priority
Children living within the normal area of the school
Fifth priority
Children living outside the normal area of the school
Note:
Within each priority, we will consider applications in order of preference (first, second, third, fourth and then fifth).
If there are not enough places for all the children in one of these preference groups, we will give priority first to those with brothers or sisters at the school in September 2007 (in all cases brothers and sisters would include stepbrothers and stepsisters living at the same address) and then to those living nearest the school.
If there are not enough places for all those with brothers or sisters at the school, we will give priority to children living nearest the school.
Distance measurements are based on the nearest walking route that a child can walk with reasonable safety, accompanied as necessary. We usually make the measurements using an electronic mapping system.
We may be able to meet your preference for a place at a school that does not serve the local area you live in. In this case, you will normally be responsible for travel arrangements and the costs of your child's travel to and from school.
