Between April 2006 and March 2007 Business Link York and North Yorkshire worked with almost 19,000 different clients, a 7% increase on the previous year.

In that time we handled nearly 45,000 enquiries from clients on topics ranging from finance, marketing, and IT to employing people.

Our advisers provided in-depth services to over 850 businesses in the area adding to their turnover by more than £36 million and creating over 970 new jobs.

We find we are working with an increasing number of clients on an in-depth basis in e – business and ICT development, helping them to create more effective websites and to exploit the commercial opportunities of trading on – line.
